Windows XP Internet Explorer 8 Black Title Bars

No apparent add-on, extension or setting causes this.  It appears
to be a fluke in the coding of Internet Explorer.  IE 8 is the
last version of Internet Explorer for Windows XP.  

1.	Shift + Left Alt + PrintScreen

2.	OK

3.	Shift + Left Alt + PrintScreen

4.	Close Internet Explorer

5.	Reopen Internet Explorer

(Rinse and repeat steps 1-5 another time.)
