Rescue Disk for Ubuntu 10.04 (per computer!)

1.  In terminal issue the command:
    grub-mkrescue --output=rescue.iso /boot/grub
    
    This will make a 5MB file rescue.iso in $HOME

2.  Burn rescue.iso to to CD-R

3.  Boot to a command line and issue the command:
    configfile /grub.cfg  
    to see the GRUB menu.
