1.    Keyboard Keystrokes to Save Time
The "Alt" key on the keyboard is meant to help you to use the menu items and their listings without using the mouse.   For example, hold the Alt key down and press F.   This causes the "File" menu to open.   Next using the A key will summon the "Save As.." box.   If you study the underlined letters and use them, you'll get to know your way around the Alt key features.   I particularly like to use Alt - F, followed by S.   This pair of actions saves the file I'm currently working on.

2.    Using the Wildcard * Inside of Windows Explorer
When using Windows Explorer and you wish to find a file you've temporarily lost, open the "Tools" menu and select "Find..   Files or Folders".   In the box, type the parts of the file name you remember, but require that all files with that kind of name appear.   For example, suppose the file you were trying to remember was the Microsoft Word file called "Ken0421.doc", which you wrote in April that referred to Ken.   In the box, type "ken04*.*" without the quotes.   Next, use the "Browse" button to select the hard drive where you think that the file resides.   Finally, select "Find Now".   The computer will find all instances of files that begin with "ken04".   Double-click the needed file in the display box to open it.   The first * told the computer to allow any ending to the left of the decimal point.   The second * told the computer to find any file extension.

3.    The Hunger Site (Website)
The Hunger Site can be found at http://www.thehungersite.com/. Once there, click on the "Donate" button once to make a free donation to help feed the hungry.   This button click adds to the total clicks made that day.   Based on the number of clicks, the site's sponsors make contributions toward fighting hunger.   It's that easy.   You'll also note other charities you can support in this way.   The website is very comprehensive and is worth exploring.
