Setup with an iPad with First Church E-mail

(This account uses IMAP w/ SSL encryption.)

1.     On your Ipad home screen tap the "Settings" icon.
2.     Tap on "Mail, Contacts, Calendars."
3.     Tap on "Add Account."
4.     Tap on "Other."
5.     Tap "Add mail account."
6.     Enter this information:
7.     Your Name: Enter your name as you would like it to appear in the "From" field of your outgoing messages.
8.     Email Address: Enter your full mail address.
9.     Password: Enter your password.
10.    Enter in a description of this account.
11.    Tap "Save."
12.    Tap "IMAP" tab.
13.    Tap Incoming Mail Server and enter this information:
14.    For your Incoming mail server (IMAP) type: customer.oldgate.net
15.    User Name: Enter your full email address.
16.    Password: Enter your password.
17.    Scroll down and enter this information:
18.    For your Outgoing mail server (SMTP) type: customer.oldgate.net
19.    User Name: Enter your full email address.
20.    Password: Enter your password.
21.    Tap "Save."
22.    If a screen comes up that says "Do you want to try setting up the account without SSL," Tap YES.
23.    Tap "Save."
24.    Tap on your email account.
25.    Tap on "SMTP."
26.    Tap on the button with the "Use SSL" to turn it OFF.
27.    Tap on the server port and Change your outgoing server setting to 587 if necessary.
28.    Tap on your email account tab in the upper left to go back.
29.    Tap the "Done" button to go back to you mail settings.
30.    Push the home button to finish.
